UPC Lithium Densifier
UPC Lithium Densifier is a lithium-fortified, single-component, deep-penetrating concrete treatment that provides for a significantly harder surface and extends the life of the concrete floor. Its design features provide higher stability and durability of the concrete substrate, reducing the cost of maintenance. This product is designed to be used during the grinding and polishing process without leaving residue or contributing to efflorescence in the concrete. UPC Lithium Densifier is user friendly, allowing the treated substrate to be ground or polished.

Testing
It is recommended that a sample area should be done before the start of the project. The test should be done on-site, using the proposed method by the assigned applicator to ensure desired finish.
Mixing
Shake or stir thoroughly before applying.
Application Instructions
To allow for deeper penetration into concrete substrate, grind the floor to a 100-200 grit surface profile. Depending on the size of the work area, this product can be applied with a pump sprayer or a high volume, low-pressure sprayer.
- Apply UPC Densifier to the surface evenly at approximately 400-500 SF/gallon.
- Lightly broom out any puddles immediately.
- Allow the material to remain on the surface for 20-30 minutes.
- Do not let any area dry out during this time. Add more UPC Densifier if needed to keep a uniform wet surface.
- After the material has penetrated and is no longer glistening on the surface, continue grinding and polishing to the desired finish. If using a wet polishing method, or on integrally colored concrete, we recommend using an auto scrubber and water to remove residual slurry between abrasive disc grits.
Additional Attributes
When UPC Lithium Densifier is used with UPC Concrete Finish as the final finish coat, it will slow the speed that the moisture vapor is driven through the slab and also help protect against Alkali buildup.
Warranty
Universal Polymer Coatings products are warranted for one year after date of application. Please refer to the UPC Limited Material warranty for additional clarification.
