UPC Aluminum Oxide

UPC Aluminum Oxide is a clear aggregate designed to be broadcast into UPC coatings to create a non-slip texture. UPC Aluminum Oxide will also add hardness to the coating and may assist in hiding small imperfections in the film surface.

Applications

The uniqueness and universality of its chemistry allow UPC Aluminum Oxide to be used in many coatings, including the following:

  • UPC 7000 & 7005 Polyaspartic
  • UPC 2700 & 2701 2K WB Urethane
  • UPC 2500 & 2508 WB Epoxy

Colors

UPC Aluminum Oxide is available in white only. However when in the coating, it will have translucent appearance.

Warranty

Universal Polymer Coatings products are warranted for one year after date of application. Please refer to the UPC Limited Material warranty for additional clarification.

Testing

All surfaces are not the same. It is recommended that a sample area be done before the start of the project. The test should be done on-site, using the proposed method by the assigned applicator to ensure desired finish.

Safety

Consult UPC Aluminum Oxide safety data sheet. Some individuals may be allergic to this coating. Avoid breathing fumes, applicators should wear solvent rated respirators. Use of safety goggles, protective gloves, and clothing when using this product is recommended.
